The GGSCF youth at Dixie Gurdwara are having monthly distribution of free hot vegetarian meals at the Knights Table facility in Brampton. The facility is a drop in centre used by those who are homeless or on low incomes, who come for a free meal. Panveer Singh, who arranges this, was there with other youth (Satvir, Harkiran, Taranjit, Karinjit and Gurpreet) to serve about a 100 meals on June 11, 2006. Some of the parents of the youth came to help prepare the food between 10am to 12noon, and then this was served until 4pm.
