On May 9, 2007 the GGSCF Board held an appreciation dinner for those who have helped with the GGSCF over the past few years. During the evening the Council thanked the xBoard members and the Board formally acknowledged new members to the Council. Awards were also given to Puneet for creating the book Sakhian, to Sarita for creating and maintaining the new website in such a professional manner, to Paragon Collision for the newly donated mini-van, as well as the Presidents of the Sikh Heritage Centre, Ontario Khalsa Darbar and Gursikh Sabha Canada for permitting branches to operate out of those Gurdwaras. Also acknowledged were the media contributions by Jagdish Singh Grewal and Baltej Singh Pannu. All the volunteers and monthly sponsors were also acknowledged and presented with a GGSCF pen and fridge magnet. Entertainment was provided with a skit by the youth from Branch 0302. The evening was overall quite enjoyable and uplifting, and a great time was had by all!
