On May 20, 2007 runners from different countries young and old came to Scarborough Gurdwara to take part in the World Harmony Run. The participants got to hold a torch and run to the Gurdwara also carrying the Canadian flag. This event has participation from over 80 countries around the world and the event at the Gurdwara was part of larger run across Canada to promote World Harmony and to spread goodwill, friendship and understanding. Some of the GGSCF volunteers also got to take part in this event and greet the runners as well as listening to a song by the World Harmony Run team.
