On a bright and sunny Saturday June 9, 2007 the GGSCF took part in the Race Against Racism organized by Peel Regional Police. In total 62 children/youth and some parents from the GGSCF took part in the event, a 5km run/walk that brings the different communities together in a full filled morning at Gage Park in downtown Brampton. There were displays from various local charities and community organizations and some cultural performances also. Food was served by Peel Police and also by the GGSCF (channa/rice) which was much enjoyed by the many present.
