The GGSCF is organizing an “Children's run across Canada” in a relay format for children and youth as a way to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Foundation. Information about this event is outlined below:

- July 1st, 2009 starting at St. John's, Newfoundland and finishing August 30, 2009 at Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Total distance approximately 7800 Km.
- Plan to run 131 Km per day over 12 hours per day using two teams each running for 6 hours.
- During the event we will be collecting for Children's Hospitals, one in each province, and for one school or similar project through Plan Canada.
- Details of the event are outlined in the sponsorship package.

If you would like to take part in this event or volunteer please come to one of the meetings at Scarbrough Gurdwara (first Saturday each month 7pm to 9pm) or Mayfield Gurdwara (third Sunday each month 11am to 1pm). You may also attend the practice runs to learn more. Space is limited and will be on an ability and commitment basis.
