Trials for Run Across Canada

3 June 2009 No Comment

group.jpg On May 31st, a second trial run was held for the run this summer in Bhagat Puran Singh Park at Scarborough Gurdwara. Nine teams of runners from across the GTA, with five on each team, ran in a total distance of 211.8 km in 3 hours. As pointed out to participants this is what is required from them each day and for some teams for 3 weeks continuous. We are now 4 weeks away from the start of the event and many of the runners are getting to shape. The fastest average time for 1km was 218 seconds and average time for all the groups was 321 seconds. Teams are also starting to fill with no space on the east team and very little space left on the west team. However, there is still lots of opportunity in the central team.  Download the Trial Results and see how you did.
