Today we conquered the land of potatoes!

It was an early start for the Blue Team as we got up nice and early to start the run at 6:30am. The endless acres of potato farms, cute little houses, warm and friendly people, along with some excellent landscapes and sights made this tiny island province, a great experience and pleasure to run through!

Around 12pm, at the Province House, we were greeted by the wonderful staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. Jagdeep made a brief presentation about the GGSCF and our event, and Tanjot presented Barbara Smith, Chair of the Foundation with a cheque for $5000.00. After taking some pictures at the beautiful building of province house, we continued the run through Charlottetown, and into the suburbs.

The yellow team arrived in the evening to finish the shift, and they certainly picked a great spot to make the switch because the blue team then had an amazing opportunity to check out the beautiful red sandy beach that we were running by.

The day concluded with dinner back at the Holland College Residences, where we had a birthday celebration as well, and after some quick debriefing, headed back into our rooms, in order to get rested and be prepared for another long day of run to make it to Moncton, New Brunswick!
