Stage 11
St. Hilaire, NB to St. Andre, QC

The East team started the day in St. Hilaire, New Brunswick and proceeded towards the New Brunswick/Quebec border. The first team experienced a cold yet calm start to the day as they ran on a quiet country highway through some foggy weather. Even with the weather on the foggy side, the runners found the route to be very scenic. Within a couple of kilometers the runners proceeded across the border between the two provinces and into Quebec. The East Team would like to thank the people of the province of New Brunswick for their warm welcomes, best wishes, and generous donations, all the runners greatly appreciated it and will miss the excellent hospitality.

As the day progressed the runners found themselves running through some very small towns and villages with many of the locals surprised at our commitment and dedication to helping other children in Canada and around the world. All runners were greeted with many smiles, waves, and honks.

As the day came to an end, runners were tired but happy at the distance cover during the day, especially considering the many hills and steep slopes the runners ran on. At the end of the day, the team finished the run off in St. Andre, Quebec and is resting and looking forward to tomorrow. The East team is extremely pleased to entered the province of Quebec as they look forward to running, exploring, and discovering the many wonders of this province.

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to say that you folks are doing such a great deed, keep up the good work and happy running. If only had I known about this event before the run began, it would have been such a pleasure to participate in it.
