Run Day 8
New Brunswick
In keeping with our daily schedule, today we covered more than 130kms. The blue team left in the early morning again, leaving our hotel in Moncton and heading towards New Brunswick.
The route today was quite scenic again, as it has been throughout our trip so far. For quite a large portion of our route, we ran along the river, and it really was very beautiful! Read more…

Run Day 7
PEI to New Brunswick

It was Blue Team’s turn again to rise and shine nice and early this morning, as we drove to New Brunswick from Charlottetown to start today’s run.
After about an hour’s drive, we crossed over from PEI to New Brunswick on the Confederation Bridge – “the curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water, and a decade after its construction, it endures as one of Canada’s top engineering achievements of the 20th century.” Read more…

Today we conquered the land of potatoes!
It was an early start for the Blue Team as we got up nice and early to start the run at 6:30am. The endless acres of potato farms, cute little houses, warm and friendly people, along with some excellent landscapes and sights made this tiny island province, a great experience and pleasure to run through! Run Day 4
Port Hawkesbury to Pictou, Nova Scotia

After a bit of a challenging day in Nova Scotia on July 3rd, we were definitely ready to have a full run-day of smooth sailing and lots of running for both teams, and thankfully enough we got almost all of our wish… with the exception of a rainy day that was still nice to cool off in!
