On September 23rd Inderpal, Kanwal, Surjit and Sukhjinder drove from Toronto to Sydney to check out the route east of Toronto. In total over 5000km was covered over 5 days while the individuals drove through Nova Scotia, PEI, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario. They also visited and were warmly welcomed by the Maritime Sikh Society in Halifax.
On Saturday, July 27th, 53 runners and volunteers gathered at Bhagat Puran Singh Park in Scarborough to hold the first practice run in preparation for next year’s ‘Children’s run across Canada’. The participants were divided into three teams and each team ran continuously in a relay around a 250-metre track from 10:30am to 1:00pm.
