Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	My role in the run has been to help coordinate meetings between communities across Canada and GGSCF volunteers during their travels to the east and west regions to check the route. As the run approaches, I will be involved with training, fundraising, and working with the West team to help coordinate and execute the plan. This run will be the most challenging, but also one of the most exciting undertakings of the GGSCF. Our track record of past events and team of very ambitious children, youth, and other volunteer helpers will serve us well throughout the journey. I am really looking forward to inching across the country and finishing the run this summer in BC. I believe that you can’t expect to succeed beyond your wildest expectations unless you begin with some pretty wild expectations!

Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	When, on completion of the Ottawa run, it was suggested that we run across Canada, it seemed like wishful thinking. Today that very dream is heading towards fulfillment. It is a feeling that cannot be expressed in words alone. To see a lot of those children become the successful individuals that they have is very heartwarming. I have been an active member since the onset, and have been involved by being present whenever I could and volunteering wherever there was a requirement.

Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	This run is something that the foundation has been working toward since the beginning and it has been an absolute honour to see it unfold. I am extremely excited to take part in this event and believe that it is just a stepping stone to other endeavors and achievements that the foundation will accomplish.

Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	I’m really looking forward to this run! It’s going to be a huge accomplishment & milestone of all the participants & volunteers involved with the Across Canada Run. I was a runner for the Toronto to Ottawa run just like it was a huge success this Across Canada Run will be the same but even better! This run is going to be a challenge and a big commitment, but all the work will pay off in the end!

I help with organizing monthly meetings and helping out with various aspects of the run. I feel that taking on this project with the foundation has already changed my life and I am looking forward to completing it.

Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	Over the years, being a part of the GGSCF has taught me that any event you dedicate yourself to is possible if you have the support of your team behind you!  We’ve done a lot of runs over the years and an across-Canada run has always been something that the GGSCF hoped to achieve one day. Thoughts on the Run and my personal involvement:	I’m very positive about “Across Canada Run”. I’m part of the east team and do weekly practice to run. My role is to make contact with Gurdwaras. I attend monthly meetings and events of GGSCF. My request to parents is that they should bring their children to Gurdwara, encourage them to attend monthly meetings and events of GGSCF. They learn lots of skills such as leadership skills, self esteem, team work and importance of service.
