There are many ways you can be involved in this project and these are outlined below. If you can think of any other creative ways to be involved we welcome your suggestions.
This is where everyone can get involved. You can donate a amount towards the run, large, small every penny counts. Attached are pdf pledge sheets that can be printed and submitted. Or you can donate on-line. Tax receipts issued for all donations of $20 or more provided full information is provided to us (name, address including postal code, telephone number).
If you have more time you can fund raise within your own local circle of friends and/or your local community.
If you are having local events you can send us pictures and details and we would love to feature you on the news section and under the events page.
Gurdwara children can get involved for example the children in Scarborough have a mural that is being completed for every $20 pledges one piece of the mural is completed with the name of the donor on the tile.

We need accommodation along the way. If you can put people up for the night or donate $100 towards a motel room for the night or $1000 for a night for the entire team (32 people runners and volunteers).
If you have a motel and can give us free accommodations or at reduced rates we would love to hear from you and also feature you on our web site.
You can donate food or drinks along the way. Advance notice would be good to avoid us duplicating the effort. This can be home cooked meals, donations from restaurants or from the community at Gurdwaras. All food must be vegetarian.
While we have many runners committed to completing the run, we are still looking for more and the spots are given up on a first come basis. During the run based on your age and location you can take part in a portion of the run based on a number of factors such as safety and your own ability. Runners must be under children/youth or any students in colleges and universities under the age of 25 years. Even if you cannot run just coming out along the route and cheering us on would be appreciated. On this web site under itinerary you can see which areas the runs passes through and on which days.

We need drivers along the way. While some have committed to taking time of work for weeks we still need those who have a “bus license”.
In some cities local groups are arranging local events such as local runs, kirtan programs, picnics etc. If you want to arrange something like this let us know and we will let you know who else is working on this in your city. Cities that have a interest are: St. John’s, Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary and Vancouver.
