While the run teams are branching across Canada, there is a HUGE need for volunteers on the Base Team. The responsibilities of the Base Team are:
-raise awareness of the event through the media; issue press releases, photos, videos of the purpose of the run over the two months.
-raise awareness of the event by visiting all Gurdwaras in the GTA, explaining about the run and fund raising.
-fund raising through radio-thons in the GTA but also in other cities such as Montreal, Calgary, and Vancouver.

The volunteers responsible for the base team is Sunny & Amritvir, so send them an email if you want to help.
The Base Team is divided into a number of teams as outside on the schedule below.

Mainstream media questions should be directed to Sandeep.
Punjabi/Indian media questions should be directed to Taranpreet.
