vaisakhifooddriveWith the support of the sangat at Scarborough Gurdwara, 2460 lbs of food was collected for the Daily Bread Food Bank. The food was collected from Vaisakhi on April 14th to the Nagar Kirtan on April 29th. The Daily Bread Food Bank appreciated the effort from the Sikh community and they acknowledged this in a thank you letter.

fooddrive1The annual food drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank was held from October 28th to November 13th at Scarborough Gurdwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab. In total 8442 lbs of food was collected and delivered to the Daily Bread Food Bank where it will be packaged and provided to those in need. Read more…

Three school buses of seniors from Dixie Gurdwara and Scarborough Gurdwara went to Niagara Falls and also visited the Gurdwara there where they had langar.
