fooddrive1The annual food drive for the Daily Bread Food Bank was held from October 28th to November 13th at Scarborough Gurdwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab. In total 8442 lbs of food was collected and delivered to the Daily Bread Food Bank where it will be packaged and provided to those in need. Read more…

Three school buses of seniors from Dixie Gurdwara and Scarborough Gurdwara went to Niagara Falls and also visited the Gurdwara there where they had langar. s20170709_134811At Wildwood Park in Malton, CanSikh held their annual sports tournament at which there were races, soccer and kabaddi tournaments over the weekend. Volunteers served food and tea to those attending and also held a collection for the the GGSCF and, in total, $3240 was raised to help the children that the GGSCF supports. Read more…

In total, 2892lbs of food was collected for the Daily Bread Food Bank, who will provide this food to those in need in the GTA area through local food banks.
