On Tuesday, January 12, 2010, there was a 7.0 magnitude earthquake which caused catastrophic damage and human loss. Many of you have been asking what the Guru Gobind Singh Children’s Foundation is doing. We are too small of an organization to be able to help in this event. We urge all people who want to help to donate to international charities such as the International Red Cross, Unicef, World Vision, Plan Canada, and HelpHaitiNow.org, since the government will match any donations made by Canadians to these charities.

We are sponsoring two children in Haiti through Plan Canada. We have not heard from them yet but Plan Canada will advise us of their condition in the near future.
