This year’s wheelchair race challenge was held by C-SASIL at Brampton Soccer Centre. In total, 16 teams entered and each team consisted of 3 members who completed two laps each. During Vaisakhi celebrations at Scarborough Gurdwara, 10,900 lbs of food was collected for the Daily Bread Food Bank by the Sikh sangat. The GGSCF volunteers would like to thank all those who contributed to this effort as it helps to feed some of the less-fortunate in Toronto.

This year, the date of the CN Tower Stair Climb marked the 100^th anniversary of the Jallianwala Park massacre in Amritsar (April 13, 1919). The annual Guru Nanak for the Daily Bread Food Bank was held from November 7^th to 28^th. In total, 4,888 lbs of food was donated to and collected by the Daily Bread Food Bank, who will distribute this to those in need across the GTA. The response has been tremendous and we would like to thank all those who contributed.
