seniorstrip_1On July 25th, GGSCF volunteers took the seniors to Niagara Falls for the Annual Seniors Trip. Two buses took seniors to the falls from Mayfield, Dixie, Malton, and Scarborough Gurdwaras. Saturday, May 30, 2015.

csasil_3C-SASIL held its fifth annual Abilities Challenge Event on May 30, 2015. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about disability rights. In total, 12 teams consisting of three members each participated in the race. The GGSCF volunteers assisted C-SASIL with setting up and officiating the races and keeping times. Read more…

vaisakhifooddriveThis year, 3321 lbs of food was collected for the Daily Bread Food Bank by the Sikh sangat at Scarborough Gurdwara during Vaisakhi celebrations. The GGSCF volunteers would like to thank all those who contributed to this effort as it helps to feed some of the needy in Toronto.
