Thousands of spectators turned up at the annual two-day CanSikh Tournament, at Wildwood Park in Malton, to see the sports. There were races, soccer and kabaddi matches which were much enjoyed, and this year it did not rain. GGSCF volunteers treated the participants and spectators to sholay/dal with naan, which were very much appreciated. Donations were collected and a walk around the field was done before the final kabaddi match, which altogether raised $3200 for the children that the GGSCF supports. The GGSCF would like to thank all those who contributed and to the organizers who have helped with this event for many years.
