The year the GGSCF restarted the house league soccer club at Scarborough Gurdwara. After the pandemic and with not enough signing up in 2023, this year the club was restarted with 28 participants on May 30^th. New volunteers (Harjot, Taran, Neha, Gurman, Nancy, Ranbir, Surjit) helped to run the club with the support the adult team coaches Jaidyn and John Williams. There was much support from the parents and so much fun was had by the participants that the season was extended to mid-September. A summer day camp was held and even though there was extreme heat during July all the participants actively took part. The teams also participated in a friendly tournament during the Gurdwara Picnic held on August 25, then ended up in a penalty shootout with each person on each team taking a penalty. The main thing was everyone was competitive and learned to enjoy the game.
