Guru Nanak Walk
26 October 2024
This year to enjoy the warm and bright Autum colours the walk was held at Colonel Danforth Park, Scarborough. The 38 participants of all ages walked from 2km to 20km depending on their ability, along Highland Creek to the lake and then along the lakefront with some making their way to the Rouge River. In addition to the fall colours, participants also saw fish, deer, rabbits and lots of different types of birds. The participants lucked out as the weather could not have been better and all enjoyed some healthy snacks provided by Scarborough Gurdwara kitchen volunteers.
