This year, the Toronto Pearson Airport Runners Club (TPARC) invited the GGSCF to their Remembrance Day Run that was held in Caledon East on a wonderful sunny day. TPARC did not want to forget those who sacrificed their lives so that we can enjoy the freedoms and comfort we presently enjoy while living in Canada, and in the difficult COVID climate, made sure everyone kept to distancing rules, wore masks and had hand sanitizer available. Kelly Arnott, Race Director of the Chilly Marathon, was on hand to congratulate all the participants and present them awards for completing the 10km route through the autumn trails in Caledon. Charity volunteers from Enlight and GGSCF helped present awards to those who took part in the Virtual Scotiabank Marathon last month. What a wonderful way to spend the day in the great outdoors!
