Foundation volunteers were at the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives for the closing reception of the Sikh Heritage Month exhibit. Along with displays of beautifully painted and drawn art pieces with Sikhi as the theme, there were many activities such as a dhol circle, poetry slam, and art battle to celebrate Sikh heritage and share it with the broader community. There was also a marketplace where different community groups showcased their work. The GGSCF was glad to be able to share some of the work we do, and tell others about our upcoming Inspirational Steps event.
