The Seniors Trip this year was held to Crawford Lake, on the Niagara Escarpment. The site is managed by Conservation Halton and features a “meromictic lake” which has two layers that do not mix and so provides archaeological and geotechnical study of the area since the last ice age when the lake was formed and is therefore of great scientific interest.  Read more…

The annual Nagar Kirtan was a bigger challenge this year due to all the construction underway downtown. University and Queen streets had significant disruption with works underway for the new Ontario Line so parking for the buses was very limited and spread out over a much wider area and so direction to the sangat was more difficult and it took longer.
